250 composers from all over the world are invited to write new piano pieces for Beethoven's 250th anniversary in the year 2020. All pieces refer to Beethoven's music and/or his life.
Susanne Kessel plays the world premieres of all the piano pieces in Beethoven's birthtown Bonn. And further performances also in other cities and countries.

All pieces are published within a high quality sheet music edition by EDITIONS MUSICA FERRUM / London.

You can find the sheet music of this piece in Vol. 6 of the project's edition.

Ernst Bechert about his piano piece "Alle Schlüsse":

“”Alle Schlüsse” ist eigentlich reiner Beethoven, es klingt nur nicht so. Das Stück besteht aus den Schlusstakten aller Einzelsätze der 32 Klaviersonaten, beginnend mit dem Schlusstakt des ersten Satzes von op.2 Nr.1 und endend mit dem Schlusstakt der Arietta aus op. 111. Die Reihenfolge dazwischen habe ich allerdings äußerst systematisch durcheinandergebracht. Dadurch ergeben sich ganz unerwartetete Kombinationen und Kollisionen. Und alle Takte haben jetzt das gleiche Tempo: 60 Viertel pro Minute, ein gleichmäßig langsames Fortschreiten.
Obwohl ein Schlusstakt doch sehr wenig Spielraum für Individualität lässt (er enthält normalerweise den Grundakkord der Tonart und weiter nichts), gleicht hier kein Takt dem anderen. Man würde vielleicht ständige Akkordschläge im
fortissimo erwarten. Aber es gibt mindestens genausoviele pianissimo-Takte. Und ab und zu erscheint sogar ein kleines melodisches Motiv. Als hätte man ein Stück von Beethoven gerade verpasst…”
