"250 piano pieces for Beethoven"

Susanne Kessel invited 250 composers from all over the world to write new piano pieces for Beethoven's 250th anniversary in the year 2020. All pieces refer to Beethoven's music and/or his life.
Susanne Kessel played the world premieres of all the piano pieces in Beethoven's birthtown Bonn. And further performances also in other cities and countries.

All pieces are published within a high quality sheet music edition by EDITIONS MUSICA FERRUM / London.

You can find the sheet music of this piece in Vol. 5 of the project's edition.

„Subjektive Beobachtung als ein Impuls für eine künstlerische Arbeit. Schwankende, bewegende, wechselnde, instabile, wandelnde Perspektive. Diese Formen der Fluktuation (=Triller!?) sind präsent und können das Generieren einer aufmerksamen Beobachtung fördern und vor allem fordern. Eine fast unfassbare Größe und Weite Beethovens Einsatz und Gebrauch von Trillern (=Fluktuationen!?). Bewusste Setzungen! Diese Form der Fluktuation offenbart ihre Möglichkeiten (quasi ihre wandelnde Identitäten) durch differenzierteste Anwendungen. Ich als Komponist darf dies erleben, beobachten, wahrnehmen. Wird ein Tropfen Wasser aus einem Teich oder Tümpel unter dem Mikroskop betrachtet, offenbaren sich (kleinste) Details: hohe Anzahl an Bewegungen, Vorkommen von kleinsten Partikeln, gegenseitiges Bedingen der Komponenten, … Das Stück versucht vielleicht ein Mikroskop zu sein. Der Tropfen, dem versucht wird sich zu nähern, ist ein Teil des Kosmos Beethovens.“
