250 composers from all over the world are invited to write new piano pieces for Beethoven's 250th anniversary in the year 2020. All pieces refer to Beethoven's music and/or his life.
Susanne Kessel plays the world premieres of all the piano pieces in Beethoven's birthtown Bonn. And further performances also in other cities and countries.

All pieces are published within a high quality sheet music edition by EDITIONS MUSICA FERRUM / London.

You can find the sheet music of this piece in Vol. 5 of the project's edition.

“Jeder Musiker kennt das Gefühl, wie es ist, auf einer Bühne zu sein. Wie sich mit dem ersten Schritt auf das Podium die Wahrnehmung der Zeit verändert, man die Alltagsroutinen im
Backstage-Bereich ablegt und im Konzert diese kostbaren Minuten erlebt. Jeder Musiker kennt den Schatz der Erinnerungen vergangener Konzerte und die Vorfreude auf bevorstehende Auftritte und Orte, wo Zeit so intensiv gelebt wird. Beethoven konnte aufgrund eines Gehörleidens, welches in
Taubheit endete, nicht mehr auf die Bühne und als Pianist auftreten. Er blieb Backstage…”
